Who We ARE

Serenity Now Landscapes is a small family owned business, established in the Salmon Arm area in 2005. This is a father/son company with Steve Corrie providing managerial services and support, while Nick Corrie acts as primary owner/operator. With over 18 years of landscape construction experience under his belt he oversees all projects, big or small.

Nick started landscaping at a young age in Ontario. The knowledge and experience he gathered there enabled him to move west to Calgary and for 8 years he managed a division of a larger landscaping company. Wishing for a more relaxing environment himself, in 2005 he decided that he ultimately wanted to make the Shuswap his home. He now lives in Salmon Arm with his wife and son.

Steve is a retired Air Traffic Controller who lives in White Lake with his beautiful wife Lucy. He is a volunteer fire fighter who is both passionate about and active in his community.

In the spring of 2010, my wife and I were contemplating an underground irrigation system for our large yard on our 40 acre farm south of Salmon Arm, B.C. We had obtained a quote the previous year from a referred installer that we felt was overly expensive. We contacted Nicolas Corrie, doing business as Serenity Now Landscaping, for an additional quote.

Nicolas came to our farm in very short order, and after being presented with our plan, provided us with a more than competitive quote to install a system. He was able to commence work within a week, and finished the project quickly and professionally. My wife and I have bought, built and sold in excess of 30 houses over the years and dealt with many a contractor. I am a retired RCMP Officer, my wife still is employed by the Force, and we have certain expectations when hiring firms or individuals to work for us.

We were very impressed with Nicolas' professional conduct and attitude, but his work ethic is what stood out the most for us. He put in very long hours, only stopping for a short lunch break. He worked alone on this project, but still managed to finish it very quickly. Once finished, he explained the operation of the system to us in layman´s terms that were easily understood, and was adamant that we call him should we encounter any difficulty or problem.

I highly recommend this gentleman in his professional capacity and would not hesitate to hire him in the future.
